The Cheapside Hoard is a priceless collection of gems and jewelry from the 16th and 17th century. They include everything from amber to diamonds, and opals to emeralds. They date from the Elizabethan and Jacobean periods, and are considered one of the main resources of information about the jewelry fashions and crafting techniques of the times.
High security in this one, as is expected when there is gold, diamonds and other sparkly bits. No bags allowed in the exhibition area. The Museum facilitates lockers to keep your belongings in. Rent is £1.
